Description

LA1-AD is a mid-layer stripped down to purest form and function. The formal yet relaxed impression of the zero resistance set-in shoulder is underscored by the raw fuzzy exterior face of the Polartec庐 Alpha庐 Direct fabric. The NBC style chest pocket hints at the technology鈥檚 mil-spec origins. Generous鈥攜et almost invisible鈥攍ow position pockets and the integrated Shirtsling墙 enhance convenience and civility. The result is an ultralight ultra-versatile three season shirt that fascinates by virtue of what it’s missing, as much as by what it’s made of. Cut longer in comparison to LA3 or LA6, with a shirt tail to allow for hem tuck.

Polartec庐 Alpha庐 Direct is designed as insulation that can be used with
or without the need for face or lining fabrics. Essentially an open mesh
of high loft polyester fibers, it forms an airy structure that traps
heat close to the body and breathes exceptionally well.

Polartec庐 Alpha庐 was originally developed for the U.S. Special Forces
when they required a more advanced insulating material in their combat
uniforms. This fabric is a new technology with active insulation that
regulates core body temperatures during both dynamic and static
activities. This latest advancement in adaptable breathability helps
eliminate the need of shedding or adding layers while on the move. A
highly compressible fabric, it easily layers with other materials and is
storable in small spaces. A stable core of lofted knit fibers prevents
fiber migration to keep a uniform consistency, even after heavy wear and
repeated laundering.
